Alkali mixture,Reactive dye fixation,Sodium carbonate replacement

Alkali blend that improves reactive dye fixation, replacing sodium carbonate and caustic soda. Enhances brightness and color fastness.

Properties

  • Powdered granular, white.
  • pH (3.5% solution): 12 – 13.
  • Solubility: 200 g/l in water at 20°C.
  • Replaces sodium carbonate, trisodium phosphate, and caustic soda.
  • Improves fixation, rubbing fastness, washing fastness, and brightness.
  • Particularly suitable for turquoise, green, and bright red shades.
  • Effective for automatic dosing and low liquor ratio dyeing machines.
  • Recommended to dissolve before use to avoid lumps.

Uses

  • Replacement ratio: 1/8 for dark or intense shades, 1/10 for light and medium shades.
  • Recommended split addition after reaching fixation temperature: 10%, 30%, and 60% of total amount at 10-minute intervals.
  • For dark shades, add extra sodium sulfate or 0.5–2 g/l caustic soda after adding ALCALI CDQ NEW to enhance exhaustion and fixation.
